If you’re feeling adventurous, you can go kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, rock jumping or enjoy a bushwalk through the nearby nature reserves, where you’ll find plenty of wildlife.
Collins Beach is known as being one of Sydney’s safest beaches. As such, it has become popular among families with young children as well as groups of friends looking for a good time without any worries about safety or security.
The closest kiosk/cafe is at Little Manly Beach, which is approximately 10 minute walk through the bush, so make sure you bring plenty of water and snacks for the day. Also it is a good idea to bring a beach umbrella or cabana, as there is very little shade on the beach.
Access to the beach is from Stuart Street or Collins Flat Road. You will have to walk approximately 7 minutes through the bush to access the beach, but it’s well worth the walk.
Whether you’re planning on spending your day lounging in the sand or exploring new heights along the cliffsides, Collins Beach Manly has something for everyone! This picturesque beach offers breathtaking ocean views with plenty of activities available both in and out of the water making it an ideal destination for anyone looking for relaxation or adventure! So grab your towel (and maybe even your kayak) because once you experience everything that Collins Beach has to offer, you won’t want to leave!
